Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Schedule and assign maintenance work based on production requirements and business priorities.
• Ensure adequate staffing and coverage for all shifts as required.
• Promote employee development through skills training and performance management.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Maintenance Operations

• Direct daily maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades.
• Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability metrics to reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within the CMMS system.

Equipment Reliability

• Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support root cause analysis investigations and reliability improvement projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment modifications and capital projects.
• Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and asset utilization.

Contractor & Vendor Management

·       Manage relationships with external contractors, service providers, and equipment vendors to ensure quality, cost-effective maintenance support.

·       Coordinate and oversee contractor activities to ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, permits, and site-specific requirements.

·       Review contractor work scopes, specifications, and service agreements to ensure alignment with operational needs and maintenance standards.

·       Obtain and evaluate quotes, bids, and proposals for maintenance services, repairs, and capital projects.

·       Monitor contractor and vendor performance, including quality of work, responsiveness, safety performance, and adherence to schedules.

·       Approve completed work, verify service quality, and ensure proper documentation before processing invoices.

·       Partner with vendors to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify reliability improvements, and implement equipment upgrades.

·       Participate in contractor safety orientations, audits, and performance reviews to maintain compliance and reduce operational risk.

·       Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to control maintenance expenditures and support budget objectives.

MRO Inventory and Materials Management

• Manage the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) inventory program to ensure availability of critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels to support equipment reliability while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, storage, and issuance of maintenance materials and replacement parts.

Safety & Compliance

·       Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

·       Ensure proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, electrical safety, and safe work practices.

·       Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

·       Maintain compliance with environmental, regulatory, and company requirements.

Planning & Budget Management

• Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets.
• Control maintenance labor, overtime, parts inventory, and contractor expenses.
• Coordinate procurement of replacement parts, equipment, and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure critical spare parts availability.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

• Support implementation of new technologies and maintenance best practices.

Documentation & Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Create and update documentation to support operational efficiency.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Travel Requirements

• Travel is required for up to 25% and may include visits to other company facilities, projects, training events and cross-functional collaborations.

Qualifications

·       Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

·       5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

·       2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

·       Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.

·       Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning systems.

·       Working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety practices.

·       Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 Oklahoma Facility Growth & Market Development

• Promote the strategic advantages of Hapco’s Oklahoma production facility, including improved lead times, expanded production capacity, and enhanced service to customers throughout the Southwestern United States.
• Identify and develop new customers, projects, and channel partners that can be effectively served from the Oklahoma location.
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to maximize utilization and growth opportunities created by the Oklahoma manufacturing facility.

Travel Requirements

·       Travel is required up to 50% and may include visits to other company facilities, projects, training events and cross-functional collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of sales and sales management experience with proven growth results.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in electrical and/or transportation infrastructure sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive materials (physically and in CSI) from various sources including vendors, production lines, and warehouses.

• Verify counts of incoming materials and inventory against appropriate documents and system information.  Document entries on receiving records as required.  Forward necessary paperwork to departments or individuals concerned.  Prepare summaries of materials received.  Maintain various written, computer systems and electronic records pertaining to product and inventory activities.  Participate in confirming inventory quantities periodically.

• Move finished products and components to proper stocking locations.  Prepare finished goods for shipment to customers or other designated locations.  Maintain electronic and manual records of items placed into stock locations.  Move finished goods to the shipping area, check count against shipping documents and instructions and load onto trucks.

• Positive and accurate communication of any discrepancies of incoming materials, inventory quantities or shipments to the appropriate personnel and make corrections as required.  Answer inquiries regarding receipt of materials, shipments made or pending, and check various details for customers, sales, customer service, material control and management

• Load and unload materials.  Move materials to and from work centers, shipping, receiving and storage areas.  Use hand and power lift trucks and other material handling devices.

• Use manual and/or automated cutting equipment for sizing required or packaging specifications for meeting customer requirements.

• Ability to lead departmental employees as an extension of the departmental supervisor/manager for departmental organization, inventory accuracy, housekeeping and safety.

• Must be able to interpret drawings, bill of materials, part numbers and part descriptions to aid problem solving and inventory control.

• Must have the ability to certify and safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, picker lift, crane, hoists or any other required material handling equipment. 

• Ability to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of various products required to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

Lean Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain the organization's Lean Manufacturing roadmap in alignment with business objectives.

• Partner with management to establish Lean goals, metrics, and improvement initiatives.

• Monitor and report Lean implementation progress and results.

• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on eliminating waste and increasing operational effectiveness.

• Promote employee engagement and participation in Lean initiatives.

• Coordinate best practice sharing across departments and facilities as appropriate. 

Lean Program Development & Implementation

• Develop and implement Lean manufacturing programs, policies, procedures, and work instructions.

• Establish systems and support structures that facilitate information flow, process reviews, and Lean tool deployment.

• Lead implementation of Lean methodologies including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Set-Up Reduction, Standardized Work, and One-Piece Flow.

• Manage continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation and sustainment.

• Ensure Lean initiatives support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Operational Support & Process Optimization

• Conduct improvement events on the manufacturing floor and ensure successful implementation of corrective actions.

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product flow.

• Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to implement process and design improvements.

• Support development and maintenance of advanced Lean systems and production methods.

• Track performance metrics and recommend adjustments to achieve targeted results. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to achieve continuous improvement objectives.

• Support integration of Lean Manufacturing initiatives with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.

Knowledge in machining processes such as straightening, sanding, expanding and beveling. Must be efficient in problem solving and the ability to address obstacles and adapt accordingly.

Perform various manual and clerical duties in the shipment of finished goods, components and equipment and the receiving and stocking of materials from several sources.  Record incoming materials, check and follow up on discrepancies and move to proper locations.  Check shipments against shipping documents and instructions.  Move shipments to stage at the loading dock and load onto trucks. Prepare and maintain specific shipping, receiving and stock records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload materials.  Move materials to and from work centers, shipping, receiving and stocking locations.  

• Occasionally transport materials to and from vendors, truck, bus and air terminals using Company vehicles.

• As needed, assume duties of yard shipper/receiver. Must have the ability to operate in a safe manner the material handling equipment such as a forklift, crane, yard tractor, etc.

• Ability to obtain a CDL license if required.

 Manage and assist in the completion of the day-to-day activities that manufacture products by supervising production workers and organizing and monitoring workflow. • Load and unload machines and equipment and set in place as directed, haul materials for Mechanics using lift trucks, hoists and other available materials handling equipment.  Assist in relocating present machines and equipment.

• Use hand tools and ordinary shop equipment such as the drill press, power saw, and pipe-threading machine.

• Perform basic soldering skills to construct cables and wiring harnesses. Soldering skills will be required to make component level PC board repairs as instructed by supervisor.

• Fabricate and wire system control enclosures according to print and as directed by supervisor.

• Perform routine maintenance and report any repair needed in timely manner.
