• Review, analyze, and trend Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs); identify root causes; and develop, implement, and monitor corrective action plans to prevent recurrence and drive continuous process improvement.

Supplier Quality Management

• Partner with Procurement to ensure supplier quality.

• Utilize receiving inspections, PPAP processes, and supplier surveillance visits.

• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and compliance.

Documentation & Compliance

• Develop and maintain quality procedures and work instructions.

• Support other departments in developing procedures and instructions.

• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality requirements and external standards.

• Lead facility audits and maintain audit readiness.

Welding Quality & Technical Support

• Design and manage welding procedures.

• Oversee welding qualification testing processes.

• Provide technical quality expertise across the organization.

• Review and evaluate welding-related quality requirements.

Training & Employee Support

• Provide quality assurance training to employees.

• Support departments with quality-related guidance and process implementation.

• Promote quality awareness and best practices throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, statistical, engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of directly related quality management or quality assurance experience.

• Experience with QMS, ISO standards, auditing, and manufacturing quality systems.

• Strong technical writing, training, and computer skills.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of Lean Manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience implementing Lean methodologies and leading operational improvement initiatives.
• Experience with project management and production cost analysis.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

The Customer Service Rep will focus on the internal/external needs of each customer and be proactive in solving issues that arise from order entry inputs. Must have excellent phone, computer and data entry skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers and other departments.

• Receive materials (physically and in CSI) from various sources including vendors, production lines, and warehouses.

• Verify counts of incoming materials and inventory against appropriate documents and system information.  Document entries on receiving records as required.  Forward necessary paperwork to departments or individuals concerned.  Prepare summaries of materials received.  Maintain various written, computer systems and electronic records pertaining to product and inventory activities.  Participate in confirming inventory quantities periodically.

• Move finished products and components to proper stocking locations.  Prepare finished goods for shipment to customers or other designated locations.  Maintain electronic and manual records of items placed into stock locations.  Move finished goods to the shipping area, check count against shipping documents and instructions and load onto trucks.

• Positive and accurate communication of any discrepancies of incoming materials, inventory quantities or shipments to the appropriate personnel and make corrections as required.  Answer inquiries regarding receipt of materials, shipments made or pending, and check various details for customers, sales, customer service, material control and management

• Load and unload materials.  Move materials to and from work centers, shipping, receiving and storage areas.  Use hand and power lift trucks and other material handling devices.

• Use manual and/or automated cutting equipment for sizing required or packaging specifications for meeting customer requirements.

• Ability to lead departmental employees as an extension of the departmental supervisor/manager for departmental organization, inventory accuracy, housekeeping and safety.

• Must be able to interpret drawings, bill of materials, part numbers and part descriptions to aid problem solving and inventory control.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Experience using multiple hand tools and measuring devices such as  files, de-burring tools, pneumatic tools, wrenches, smart levels, tape measure, pie tape, micrometers, calipers, and levels. Perform daily Safety and Mechanical Power Press Inspection Record. Comply with safety and housekeeping rules.

SUMMARY 

This position will be required to perform various manual and clerical duties in the Flagpole Production Department which include but not limited to the following: Building/Fabricating all the various types of flagpoles and Aluminum shafts according to customer demand. Building parts/product from components that need to be assembled such as Brackets, Eagles and specialty products. Ability to use computer systems to maintain and track PWOs. Ability to comprehend mechanical drawings such as CAD or engineering drawings. This Position will require the applicant to weld products in accordance with the wage/learning progression outlined by the supervisor. Employees must follow and master each of the steps outlined in the progression form. This position will also be required to put items away, move pallets and organize stock.      

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must have the ability to communicate with peers, Supervisor/Managers.

• Read and Interpret blueprints and working shop drawings.

• Visually inspect welds to determine compliance with standards.

• Must be proficient with and have a good understanding of product composition.

• Must be able to interpret bills of materials and job orders, proficient with part numbers and part descriptions to aid problem solving and inventory control.

• Must have the ability to operate in a safe manner using material handling equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack. 

• Use raw materials from various sources including vendors, intercompany transfers, and warehouses to build/fabricate finished goods.  

• Check count of on hand/workstation materials against appropriate records.  Make entries on the operating system as required. Forward necessary paperwork to departments or individuals concerned such as shop supervisor.  Move materials to different areas with the aid of forklift or pallet jack.  

• Participate in inventory and cycle count processes. 

• Prepare product for shipment. Assist in maintaining records on all items taken from stock and used in the production process.  Move finished goods to the shipping area, check count against shipping documents.  Move component parts and materials to various production work centers.

• Keep supervisor informed of any discrepancies on workstation materials or shipments as instructed.

• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor outside the production department and adhere to company safety and housekeeping policy and work rules.

• Ability to navigate computer systems for timekeeping purposes. 

• Ability to navigate CSI computer system to track jobs and clock job work.

• Ability to completely build all poles and products outlined in progression form including but not limited to: Internal Halyard Flagpoles, External Flagpoles, Welding hand holes, operating the buggo machine, 

• Ability to assess the necessary inventory to be procured based upon cycle counts.

• Ability to complete tasks within the times given with minimal supervision.

Working in close partnership with plant leadership and cross-functional teams, the Safety Manager drives consistency in safety standards, strengthens risk mitigation practices, and enhances overall safety performance across all locations. This position reports directly to the VP, Operations.

Safety Program Leadership

• Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs across multiple manufacturing sites.

• Establish standardized safety policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and operational effectiveness.

• Promote a culture of proactive risk identification and injury prevention.

• Coordinate implementation of company-wide safety initiatives.

• Provide guidance on the safe design and modification of equipment and operational processes.

• Ensure contractor safety compliance and adherence to company standards.

Emergency Preparedness

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Schedule and assign maintenance work based on production requirements and business priorities.

Maintenance Operations

• Direct daily maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades.
• Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability metrics to reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within the CMMS system.

Equipment Reliability

• Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support root cause analysis investigations and reliability improvement projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment modifications and capital projects.
• Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and asset utilization.

Contractor & Vendor Management

·       Manage relationships with external contractors, service providers, and equipment vendors to ensure quality, cost-effective maintenance support.

·       Coordinate and oversee contractor activities to ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, permits, and site-specific requirements.

·       Review contractor work scopes, specifications, and service agreements to ensure alignment with operational needs and maintenance standards.

·       Obtain and evaluate quotes, bids, and proposals for maintenance services, repairs, and capital projects.

·       Monitor contractor and vendor performance, including quality of work, responsiveness, safety performance, and adherence to schedules.

·       Approve completed work, verify service quality, and ensure proper documentation before processing invoices.

·       Partner with vendors to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify reliability improvements, and implement equipment upgrades.

·       Participate in contractor safety orientations, audits, and performance reviews to maintain compliance and reduce operational risk.

·       Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to control maintenance expenditures and support budget objectives.

MRO Inventory and Materials Management

• Manage the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) inventory program to ensure availability of critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels to support equipment reliability while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, storage, and issuance of maintenance materials and replacement parts.

Safety & Compliance

·       Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

·       Ensure proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, electrical safety, and safe work practices.

·       Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

·       Maintain compliance with environmental, regulatory, and company requirements.

Planning & Budget Management

• Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets.
• Control maintenance labor, overtime, parts inventory, and contractor expenses.
• Coordinate procurement of replacement parts, equipment, and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure critical spare parts availability.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

• Support implementation of new technologies and maintenance best practices.

Documentation & Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Create and update documentation to support operational efficiency.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Travel Requirements

• Travel is required for up to 25% and may include visits to other company facilities, projects, training events and cross-functional collaborations.

Qualifications

·       Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

·       5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

·       2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

·       Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.

·       Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning systems.

·       Working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety practices.

·       Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist and work under the guidance of Maintenance Mechanics or the supervisor in the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of machines, equipment and plant facilities.  Personally perform preventive maintenance, electrical, minor maintenance and repair work.

• Reviews blueprints and performs ordinary carpentry, plumbing, building and grounds repair and maintenance as needed.

• Load and unload machines and equipment and set in place as directed, haul materials for mechanics utilizing lift trucks, hoists and other available materials handling equipment.  Assist in relocating current machines and equipment.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and servicing tasks such as oiling, greasing, inspecting equipment and making simple adjustments.

• Use hand tools and ordinary shop equipment such as the drill press, power saw, and pipe-threading machine.

• Maintains all reporting documents in relation to preventive maintenance, scrap, quality and work related downtime.

• Perform basic soldering skills to construct cables and wiring harnesses. Soldering skills will be required to make component level PC board repairs as instructed by supervisor.

• Fabricate and wire system control enclosures according to print and as directed by supervisor.

• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.

• Perform routine maintenance and report any repair needed in timely manner. 

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
